Is Screen Recorder free?
Yes, it's free to download with basic features. Premium removes ads and feature limits, and you can try it free for 3 days. Weekly and yearly plans both unlock every feature. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before your trial ends.
Is there a time limit on recordings?
No. There's no fixed limit. How long you can record depends on your free storage, battery level and device performance. 4K uses much more space, so keep several gigabytes free before you start.
How do I record in 4K?
Open Recording Settings and set Video Resolution to 4K (Ultra). We recommend 60 FPS for smooth results, and make sure your iPhone has plenty of free storage.
Can I record my face and screen at the same time?
Yes. Go to the Tools tab, choose Record Screen + Face, tap Start, then Start Broadcast. You can move and resize the facecam overlay while you record. Forgot to turn it on? Use Facecam Reaction to add your reaction to any recording afterwards.
Which platforms can I livestream to?
YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Vimeo and Trovo, plus any platform that gives you an RTMP URL and stream key. The in-app Tutorials show you where to find your stream details, and Save in Projects keeps a copy on your iPhone.
Which iOS version do I need?
Screen Recorder requires iOS 17 or later.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Subscriptions on your iPhone, tap Screen Recorder, then tap Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial. Apple manages all subscriptions, so we can't cancel for you. You keep Premium until the end of your current billing period.
